Summer Preview, which typically takes place in late June, is for incoming first-year students who are accepted and planning to attend Geneva College. And because they play an important role in helping students transition to college, we also encourage parents to attend. This event is designed to give admitted students deeper insight into student life, as they meet with academic advisors, complete assessment testing and connect with future classmates. Parents will have the opportunity to learn more about the integration of faith and learning, attend sessions with faculty, participate in a Q&A session hosted by Student Development, learn more about the Financial Aid and Business Office procedures and connect with other parents.
As transfer students, the college experience isn't entirely new to you - but Geneva College is! By attending Transfer Welcome Week, you will learn about the support services available to help you succeed academically, adjust to collegiate life at Geneva College, and meet new friends and peers. During your abbreviated orientation schedule, designed specifically for transfer students, you will meet staff, faculty, and new friends who are excited about your success and presence here.
Know that our staff and faculty are here to walk with you through your new and exciting journey and experience. We are all looking forward to meeting and supporting you during and after your time in college.
