Christian Ministries - Pre Seminary


The Pre-Seminary Track prepares students to pursue seminary training in preparation for professional ministry in a church vocation. Students experience balanced preparation including courses in theology, philosophy, church history, and a practicum.

Overview of Program Requirements
39 hours in the major, not counting the 9 hours in Bible required in the Core (BIB 112, 113 and 300).

3 hours in Bible interpretation:
BIB 200 "How to Read the Bible" (3 hours)

6 hours in Bible content courses divided between Old and New Testament studies and selected from:

6 hours in New Testament Greek or in Old Testament Hebrew (6)

9 hours in Philosophy selected from:
