Pre-Graduate School

Geneva biology majors have been very successful getting into high-quality graduate school programs. In the last ten years, our students have been accepted at Auburn University, Washington University in St. Louis, the University of Minnesota, the University of North Carolina, Case Western Reserve University, Vanderbilt University and the University of Pittsburgh (all ranked among the top 25 research institutions in the country), among others.

Preparation for graduate school includes taking advantage of the Biology Department's advanced coursework in Molecular Biology, Immunology, Neuroscience and Advanced Genetics. Acceptance into graduate school also requires research experience, which can be obtained at Geneva or at many universities. Geneva students have been accepted into summer undergraduate research programs at top research universities, including The Ohio State University, Case Western Reserve University, Ohio University, and Duke University.
