What do you enjoy about teaching online at Geneva College?

Throughout my career, I had the privilege to work for some great organizations where I specialized in mental health outpatient therapy, behavioral modification, psychiatric social work, teaching and instruction.  In addition, I also specialized in program development and management. After having children, my husband and I decided to homeschool, so I began to work part time while homeschooling our 7 children. With our oldest 2 children in college, I had the opportunity to look for a position in teaching again. Because we were so excited that one of our nieces had a great spiritual experience at Geneva, we decided to consider it for our second son, who is currently attending Geneva! We were so impressed by the commitment to academic teaching along with a firm commitment to the truth, I pursued employment at Geneva. Everyone in the adult online program was so professional, committed and genuine, I couldn’t wait to start working with the staff and the students on the online program. I have a passion for helping students to be successful and I thoroughly enjoy the material for the online classes at Geneva as well as the interaction with my students. It has been a rewarding experience, so much so, that I truly look forward to each discussion post and paper that each student turns in. Teaching at Geneva College, working with the students, and being able to meet some genuine staff and professors in this program has been a privilege and a blessing and I look forward to each semester!
