Rutledge ("Rut") Etheridge pastored the Providence RPC in Pittsburgh for seven years.  Prior to finishing his Master of Divinity degree at RPTS in 2006, he taught senior high Bible for five years at a college-prep Christian school in Indianapolis.  He and his wife Evelyn have five children:  Isaiah (10), Caroline (8), Calvin (6), Josiah (4) and Sylvia (11 months).  They are members of the First RPC Beaver Falls congregation.

Current Projects:

Contracted through Crown and Covenant Publications to write: “God Breathed” . This book is an in-depth exploration of Scripture’s understanding of Scripture and how God’s Word connects deeply and personally to us, dealing extensively with how and why we view the Bible the way we do in our culture, and aimed at young adults who've had very little, or a very bad, experience with Christianity in general and the Bible in particular.
