Biblical Selflessness as an Ethical Principle If Biblical love, i.e., selflessness, is the pinnacle of obedience to the law ("the greatest commandment"), then surely it ought to be a primary concern in determining whether an action is ethical or not. This is a hard sell in our narcissistic culture. Therefore, I need to develop a stronger Biblical foundation for selflessness as an ethical principle.
Development of Immunological Markers for GI Tract Smooth Muscle Stem Cells.
The Latest Fashion in Designer Babies. As technology gives humans ever-increasing ability to select and even genetically-manipulate their embryos, it is becoming ever more urgent to assess whether the application of these technologies is ethical. This article, which I hope to publish in the near future, reviews the history of humans’ attempts to design their children to the parents’ preferences. It also describes the latest technology—generally referred to as gene editing—and evaluates whether it is ethical based on Biblical principles.
