Current Projects

Beaver County Student and Family Resource Hub. This initiative, in partnership with Flourish Beaver County, aims to address a critical gap in the county by creating a centralized web-based platform where students and families can access comprehensive, up-to-date information on academic readiness, career exploration, and mental health resources.

Advising Checksheets Application - an internal application to improve major and schedule management for academic advisors and students.

PCO Bridge – Cloud-based application that links Ministry Platform (church management system) with Planning Center (service planning software) to simplify scheduling and management of volunteers.

Ministry Platform API Wrapper – Php wrapper code that enables easy access to MP data via its REST API.  Code is open source and in use by a number of churches across the country to provide integration of websites and applications with their church’s data.

Planning Center API Wrapper – Php wrapper code that enables easy access to Planning Center data via its REST API.

Professional Experience

Prior to joining the faculty at Geneva, I spent over 30 years working in various technology and business positions. I’ve had the opportunity to develop software and lead development teams for applications ranging from military aircraft systems to hospital medical equipment management to church member data management. I’ve supported high-speed networking hardware and software for a global customer base. I’ve had the opportunity to work in a company as small as seven people, as well as lead a global team of 65. The project that was the most fun was the project manager/owner representative for a $12.5 million expansion and remodeling project for Grace Community Church. A 52,000 sf addition was constructed, and 33,000 sf of existing space was remodeled to better reach the people of Cranberry Township.

I am currently an Instructional Associate in Georgia Tech’s MS Computer Science program, where I lead a team of TAs supporting students as they complete a course on GPU Hardware and Software.
