Professional Experience
Prior to joining the faculty at Geneva I spent over 13 years working as a professional in the Human Resource and Management fields. I started out at a small trucking company as their very first HR Manager. This provided me with invaluable experience doing everything as a department of one. Following trucking I moved to financial services where I was the Site HR Manager for an operations center in downtown Pittsburgh with of over 850 employees where I managed a staff of 4 HR professionals. I ended my professional career as a Territory HR Manager in the telecommunications industry with responsibility for 5 operations centers in 3 different states. I have worked in both union and non-union environments. My areas of specialty include employee relations, management consulting, employment law compliance and conflict resolution.
