Geneva Drops 3-0 Decision at Notre Dame
South Euclid, OH - Geneva′s men′s soccer team tasted victory for the first time this season on Saturday night; however, the Golden Tornadoes winning feeling was short-lived. Notre Dame, the defending AMC North champs, out shot Geneva 17-3 in the game, but Sam McCracken again did a solid job in the net for the Golden Tornadoes with ten saves. Notre Dame opened the scoring in the 15th minute and then extended the lead in the 30th minute. Notre Dame closed out the scoring with a goal in the 60th minute.
The Golden Tornadoes will get back into action on Thursday night when they host Waynesburg College in a match-up between future PAC members.
