BISON BASHING, GENEVACRUISES PAST BETHANY

Beaver Falls, PA- Geneva′s women′s volleyball team looked right at home on Tuesday as the Golden Tornadoes returned to Metheny Fieldhouse for a 3-0 victory over Bethany College. The Golden Tornadoes improved to 3-1 on their home court and moved their overall record to 12-17 with a convincing three-game sweep over the Bison.

The first game remained competitive until the Golden Tornadoes rolled off six straight points to stretch a one-point deficit into a 24-19 lead. Geneva took the first game 30-24 and then cruised in games two and three by scores of 30-14 and 30-22.

Geneva will be right back on its home floor on Thursday night when it welcomes Westminster College to Metheny Fieldhouse for a 7 pm start. This weekend, Geneva will play three matches on Saturday against Chatham, Waynesburg and Grove City.
