Geneva College has reached a new contractual agreement with the Center for Urban Theological Studies (CUTS) in Philadelphia. Partnering with Geneva since 1979, CUTS is a Christian educational institution that trains leaders to serve in the urban church, community and marketplace. CUTS offers accredited associate and bachelor′s degrees in partnership with Geneva College.

“The new agreement is designed to help CUTS achieve autonomy as an independently accredited educational institution,” says Geneva College President Kenneth A. Smith. “In the interim, Geneva will continue to provide its programs through CUTS, and work with that institution to help build its program and organization.”

Geneva College entered into a relationship with CUTS in 1979, offering a bachelor′s degree in ministry to urban church leadership. The program has experienced significant growth since then, and students can now earn associate degrees in biblical studies or administration, and bachelor′s degrees in Bible and ministry, human resources, human services, or urban ministry leadership. CUTS also offers a Korean program.

Geneva College is a comprehensive Christian college of the arts, sciences and professional studies. Founded in the tradition of the Reformed Christian faith, Geneva prepares students to serve Christ in all areas of society: work, family and the church. Geneva College′s philosophy of education is based on the Foundational Concepts of Christian Higher Education. Geneva is a founding member of the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities (CCCU).
