Geneva College will host Celebration Weekend, a reunion for the alumni classes of 1954 and 1964, on May 9 and 10 to coincide with commencement activities. Celebration Weekend events will begin on Geneva′s campus May 9 at 10 a.m.
Planned activities include a Geneva memory session, campus tour, lunch at Alexander′s Dining Hall, choice of seminar or coffee house, Reception Dinner at Shakespeare′s Restaurant, and an opportunity to watch commencement on May 10.
This is the second year that Geneva has held Celebration Weekend, and some new events have been added or enhanced. "We are hoping that the small changes will make the weekend even more special," commented Jolynn Fry, Advancement Coordinator. "Our hope is that the event will bring these milestone-year alumni back to campus and help them reconnect with classmates and recapture the memories that they made during their time at Geneva."
Additional information can be found at the Celebration Weekend page or by contacting Jolynn Fry at jhfrey@geneva.edu. Registration is $65 and can be completed here.
Lodging for the event has been reserved at the Hampton Inn. A discount will be given to those who mention that they are part of the Geneva College Celebration Weekend. Registration must be completed by April 18 to receive the discount and can be done by calling 724-774-5580. The Hampton Inn is located at 202 Fairview Drive, Monaca, PA 15061.
