Women’s soccer hits fourth straight loss in skid at Franciscan


Steubenville, OH - Geneva women′s soccer hits its fourth straight loss at Franciscan with the final decision of 5-1. The loss drops the Golden Tornadoes record to 1-5 overall.

Franciscan held the lead by five at the half but Geneva did not allow them to finish the game with the shutout. Junior midfielder, Heidi Mann (Colorado Springs, CO/Evangelical Christian Academy), found the Barons' back of the net after receiving a pass from sophomore forward Kimberly Orihel (Clinton, OH/Cuyahoga Valley Christian).

Saturday Geneva plays at home starting at 2 p.m. against Wooster (OH).
