Psalom concert at Geneva

Joe Kickasola

Russian a cappella group Psalom will perform a concert on Tuesday February 24 at 7 p.m. The concert will be held in John White Chapel in Old Main, and Geneva College’s choir The Genevans will also  contribute to the evening’s music.

Psalom is an acapella quartet that comes from St. Petersburg Russia. The group is led by composer Konstantin Zhigulin, who who writes most of its songs. These songs offer a unique sampling of Scripture-inspired spiritual music, and the group has shared this music in Russia, the Ukraine and across the United States. Much of Psalom’s music has been covered by Geneva ensembles New Song and The Genevans,

Tuesday’s concert is free and open to the public. Psalom will also lead music during Chapel at 10:10 a.m. in Metheny Fieldhouse on Wednesday February 25.
