Women’s Cross Country Has Strong Performance in Oberlin

Oberlin, OH – Geneva cross country competed Saturday morning in the Oberlin College Inter-Regional Ruble finishing 23rd overall.

“With average race times of 24:18, this was the fastest time since the 2012 team,” said head coach Brian Yowler. “As a team we finished ahead of Westminster for the first time this season so we're improving.”

Havilah Gaugler (Pittsburgh, PA/Avonworth) ran the 6K in 23:32.7. Madelyn Blosser (Mechanicsburg, PA/Cumberland Valley) and Rebecca Miller (Spring Grove, PA/Spring Grove) also ran strong races finishing with times of 24:00.2 and 24:05.9 respectfully.

“We have big goals for the PAC meet in two weeks. Based on today's performance, I'm confident that we're ready.”  

Saturday, October 31 at 11 a.m. the Golden Tornadoes will compete in the PAC Championship meet hosted by St. Vincent College.
