Geneva men’s soccer season ends in ECAC Regional semifinal, losing 1-0

ERIE, PA: Alvernia College made an early first half goal stand up and defeated Geneva 1-0 in ECAC Regional Semifinal action on the campus of Penn State-Behrend.

A goal by Alvernia’s Jay Ringer was the only one to elude freshman goalkeeper Luke Nolan (Wexford, PA/North Allegheny) but the Alvernia defense limited Geneva to just two shots and the goal stood up.

Geneva finishes it season with a 13-5-4 record.
