Three Top Women’s Finishers in Oberlin Ohio


Oberlin, OH – The Geneva women’s track and field had a strong performance at Friday’s Crimson and Gold Invitational meet. The women had a first place finish along with a third and fourth performances.

“The women had another great meet on Friday,” said head coach Phil Thompson. “We ran some good times on the track and had some good marks in the field.” 

Sophomore sprinter Jess Kelosky (Fombell, PA / Riverside) had a medal winning meet, winning the 60-meter dash with a time of 8.18 seconds.

Sophomore Kailee Loose (Beaver, PA / Beaver) was a dual threat on both the track and field finishing fourth in the 60-meter dash (8.5 seconds) and placing third in the long jump (4.66 meters). 

The Golden Tornadoes turn around in less than 24 hours to compete at the Jim Wuske Invitational hosted by the University of Mount Union on Saturday, February 6.
