Geneva Continues Win Streak; 2-0 Win Over Waynesburg
Beaver Falls, PA – Geneva men’s soccer hosted the Waynesburg Yellow Jackets Saturday (Oct. 15) afternoon posting a 2-0 win over the conference visitors. The win raises Geneva’s overall record to 10-3-1, 4-0 in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC), the program’s seventh consecutive win.
Nate Musselman (Uniontown, OH/Green) recorded his first goal of the season off of a deflected save by the keeper in the 29th minute.
With 10 minutes remaining in the second half, Gib McCracken (Beaver Falls, PA/Beaver County Christian School) converted a penalty kick for his seventh goal of the season.
Geneva heads to Bethany on Tuesday, October 19, game starting at starting at 3:30 p.m.
