(BEAVER FALLS, Pa.) – Geneva College announces a new financial aid opportunity for incoming transfer students. The Dean’s Scholarship, which provides $15,000 a year, allows quality Christian higher education to be a more affordable option for more transfer students.

The new $15,000 a year academic scholarship is offered for up to eight undergraduate semesters to transfer students with a cumulative college GPA of 3.5 or higher. Eligibility is determined when applying to Geneva College and conferred upon enrollment. While the Dean’s Scholarship is a new level of financial aid for students transferring to Geneva with high academic credentials, the existing Tower Scholarship ($12,500 per year) remains available for transfer students with college GPAs between 3.0 and 3.49.

Dr. Anthony Turner, Vice President of Enrollment and Marketing, explains, “We want help to students who are transferring from another college be able to choose the academic strength and Christian perspective of a Geneva education. Between the new Dean’s Scholarship for highest achievers and our existing Tower Scholarship for those who also welcome the rigor of a Geneva education, we’re striving to make Geneva an affordable option.”
