(BEAVER FALLS, Pa.) – Geneva College announces several top 100 rankings in 2021 U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges lists, including having one of the 2021 Best Undergraduate Engineering Programs in the nation.

U.S. News & World Report also ranked Geneva College in the top 100 of Regional Universities – North and in the category of Top Performers on Social Mobility.

Geneva College Engineering Chair Anthony Comer, PhD, says, “It is an honor to be ranked by our peers among the top 100 undergraduate engineering programs in the U.S. and especially momentous as we celebrate our 100th anniversary of engineering education at Geneva College.”

The publication bases engineering program rankings on the judgment of deans and senior faculty at peer institutions from among 220 engineering programs. Peer reviews from the spring and summer of the previous school year show the overall ranking results for the best engineering programs in 2021. Only ABET-accredited schools are eligible. Geneva is one of 15 Council for Christian Colleges and Universities in the country that offer ABET-accredited engineering programs, thus providing students with a competitive career and academic edge.

Regional University rankings are based on 17 measures of academic quality among colleges in 11 northern states. Social mobility rankings result from data on enrolling and graduating large proportions of disadvantaged students receiving Pell Grants, a vast majority of whom have adjusted gross family incomes under $50,000 per year.

Geneva College is a Christ-centered academic community that provides a comprehensive education to equip students for faithful and fruitful service to God and neighbor. Offering over 145 traditional undergraduate majors and programs, fully online Adult Degree Programs and high-demand graduate degrees, Geneva’s programs are recognized for their high quality.
