These funds will support key campus improvements, enhance student experiences, and strengthen Geneva College’s long-term sustainability. \n“How grateful we are to the Lord for people willing to invest wholeheartedly in Geneva’s future!” says Calvin Troup ‘83, PhD, president of Geneva College. “We are enjoying God’s blessings given through the generous hearts of our alumni and friends. The vision and strategy initiatives of our trustees and the campaign leadership of the Geneva College Foundation set the stage and stayed the course for the campaign. I’m particularly thankful for Dr. Marvin Dewey, president of the Geneva College Foundation, who led us masterfully from start to finish.” \nThe campaign centered on three primary priorities: renovations to Old Main, the construction of the Dwight E. Wagner Welcome Center, and growth in endowment. These objectives reflect a shared vision by the College’s leadership, faculty, and alumni for advancing Geneva’s Christ-centered mission. \nFollowing feasibility studies and a pause during the COVID-19 pandemic, the campaign was approved in November 2021. As the Geneva College Foundation began its quiet phase, strong early support from board members, faculty, staff, and key donors established momentum and affirmed the importance of the campaign’s priorities. \nIn October 2025, the public phase of the campaign was launched during Geneva’s Homecoming. Engagement with the campaign and giving exceeded all expectations. \n“We are grateful to God for His blessing,” says Marv Dewey, EdD, president of the Geneva College Foundation. “And we are grateful to all those who partnered with us. You enabled Geneva to continue its mission and ministry of education, one that has become increasingly unique in the higher education landscape.” \nThe successful completion of the Advancing Faith and Learning for the 21st Century campaign reflects the collective commitment of the Geneva community.
