The Geneva College Honors Programs provide opportunities for students to challenge themselves by digging deeper into the college experience, exploring what it means to be a Christian scholar and discovering the lordship of Christ in every aspect of academic life. Incoming freshmen are invited, based on their academic performance in high school, to compete for membership in the First Year Honors Program. There are up to 30 available positions in the
In addition to identifying qualified students for the Honors Program, the competition will identify the top five students to receive a $5,000 Honors Scholarship. This scholarship is in addition to other Geneva Scholarships and Grants previously awarded and it is divided evenly over four years (eight semesters). Additionally, a $2,000 Travel & Research Honorarium is provided to all students who complete the first year of the Honors Program with an earned GPA of 3.4 or higher at the end of the first year. This honorarium may be used for off-campus study, academic research or conference attendance.
