Homecoming & Family Weekend

For those of you who were able to join us, we say “Thank You!” The weather was great and we enjoyed a day full of opportunities to gather with classmates and reminisce. You should have received an email survey with five questions to help us better plan for next year. If you haven’t had the opportunity to take the survey, it’s not too late. We want to hear from you.

If you weren’t able to join us, we hope to see you next year.

Save the Date for Homecoming & Family Weekend 2016: September 23-24, 2016

We will be celebrating reunion years ending in 1s and 6s (2001, 1996, etc.). You will hear from us soon if you are a member of those classes. Please email us at alumni@geneva.edu to provide input into what your reunion will look like or if you would like to help us spread the word among your classmates.

If you have suggestions for Affinity Reunions that you would like to see offered, please email alumni@geneva.edu. We welcome your input.

#GivingTuesday - Stay Golden! December 1, 2015

What is #GivingTuesday? Taking place December 1, 2015 – the Tuesday after Thanksgiving – #GivingTuesday is a time for us to embrace the spirit of giving utilizing the power of social media to create a national movement. Coming on the heels of the retail spree that is Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday is an opportunity to give back. Watch your email, and Geneva Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts to spread the word.

Distinguished Service Award Recipients

On September 25-26, we welcomed alumni and families back to campus to celebrate Homecoming & Family Weekend. As part of that celebration, we honored five alumni with the Distinguished Service Award. This award is presented each year to alumni who embody the principles for which Geneva College stands, and whose efforts on behalf of the college, the community and the nation have been exemplary. This is also a means of honoring alumni for epitomizing Geneva’s standards, mission and commitment to servant-leadership.

Attention Class of 2015

Can you believe that six months have passed since you walked across the stage on Reeves Field to accept your diploma? Time certainly flies. We are interested in what you have been up to since graduation—further education, a new job? In November, we’ll send you an online survey via email, giving you the opportunity to provide an update about yourself.

As a way to say thank you for completing our survey, you will be entered to win an iPad mini or a $100 Amazon gift card.

Please remember, the Career Development Center provides services and resources for alumni for life. If you’re looking for employment, be sure to use our Geneva Job Link website:
www.genevajoblink.com.
