February 2012

The Geneva College Adult Degree Completion Program could change your life or the life of someone you know. So even if you are an ADCP grad or current student, please share this email with others.

Bridge the Gap

One of the hardest parts of completing a bachelor′s degree is coordinating your schedule to accommodate the class offerings to finish your credit requirements. The Geneva College Adult Degree Completion program has made it easy for busy adults to finish the bulk of those credits, but what about the rest?

One of the best kept secrets at Geneva College is the Bridge Program—an assortment of courses available to our adult students to help them complete core and elective requirements. The courses are offered one night a week from five to eight weeks long. In addition to the accelerated set-up, Bridge courses are also available in online, hybrid online and distance-learning formats. To add to the convenience, books are always delivered to your home.

So, do you need to finish your humanities requirements? Stuck on finding a natural science class that fits into your schedule? Do you just need to earn credits prior to starting in the ADCP? The Bridge Program offers a variety of core and elective classes each semester on different nights of the week. And with two different start times each semester, you have the flexibility to enroll in 12 credits. Plus, financial aid may be available to students enrolling in at least six credits.

The great news is that it′s not too late to sign up! If you′re planning on graduating in May or August, or simply need to earn more credits, visit the website to view the upcoming Bridge classes and to register. If you have any questions about the Bridge Program or want to know what classes you need to complete your degree, call your enrollment counselor at 800-576-3111.

Financial IQ Webinar

Geneva College is working with one of the federal loan servicers, Great Lakes, to help you prepare to be financially successful now and after you finish your degree. Join us for the "Know Your Score" webinar on February 10 at 2 p.m. EST, February 24 at 2 p.m. EST, or February 28 at 7 p.m. EST.

You will learn how credit affects all aspects of your life—including future employment; receiving favorable interest rates for school, home and car loans; and insurance rates. After you complete this session, you′ll know how to request free copies of your credit report and how to improve, manage and protect your credit score. Don′t miss this opportunity to take charge of your financial future!
