Adult Degree Programs seeks to serve those who have served

The Geneva College Adult Degree Programs is proud to support our country's service members and veterans. In 2013, Geneva College was selected by Victory Media as one of the Top Military Friendly schools. We are proud to offer a program to complete your bachelor's degree in a manner that fits your lifestyle. Whether it is in the classroom one night a week, or online, the Adult Degree Programs can help you achieve your dream of completing your degree in a major that fits your needs.

But in addition to convenient majors and locations, the Adult Degree Programs wants to help eligible service members and veterans financially afford a bachelor's degree. Those who enroll can benefit from the Yellow Ribbon and Geneva College scholarships. A Geneva Yellow Ribbon scholarship will cover the remaining balance after a Post-9/11 GI Bill benefit is applied. The Geneva College scholarship for active duty members will lower tuition for recipients to $250 per credit. Geneva College Adult Degree Programs is honored to provide this opportunity to those who have served our country.

We hope to provide all of our students and graduates the tools they need to succeed in achieving their goals.  Jeffery Barnes, human resources '01, recently received a promotion as Senior Master Sergeant on May 1. Before his promotion, he served for four years at the 459th Aeromedical Staging Squadron. In 2013, he was awarded First Sergeant of the Year for the 459th Refueling Wing. And following that award, he transferred to the 69th Aerial Port Squadron as First Sergeant in March of 2014. Sergeant Barnes is also a graduate of the Geneva College Master's in Organizational Leadership program.

We are proud of our military members and veterans and look forward to serving all of you as you pursue your bachelor's degree. Contact the office and speak to our school certifying official, Bobbi Griffith, at 800-576-3111. You can also visit our online Veteran's Service Center.
