Dear Geneva Alumni,
I'd like to wish you a happy Homecoming from the Geneva community.
God has blessed us with a rich heritage of alumni who have lived out commitments to God and neighbor. Your continued support of the college is a blessing to be celebrated.
We are grateful for the low incidence of COVID-19 cases as we move into the middle of the semester, including no active cases through the past three weeks. Students, faculty and staff are remaining vigilant with daily health screenings; appropriate use of masks, handwashing and hand sanitizer; regular cleaning and disinfectant protocols; and other mitigation efforts.
While we are disappointed we’re not able to host you in person on campus during this Homecoming Week, we are grateful that we can still gather virtually to celebrate. We invite you to join us for as many online events as you can during Homecoming, October 7 – 10. In this FYI, we highlight a number of events in which you can participate, and you can see the full schedule at geneva.edu/homecoming.
Please pray to the Lord for our ministry of education:
- Patience and vigilance for the challenges of living and learning together during the pandemic
- Continued good health of the Geneva community and the ability to conduct face-to-face education
- Meaningful connections with alumni during our first-ever Virtual Homecoming celebration
Warmly in Christ,
Calvin L. Troup, PhD,
President
