Tish Harrison Warren
To speak to students, faculty and staff, the Geneva Visiting Artist and Lecture Series welcomes the author of Christianity Today's 2018 Book of the Year, Tish Harrison Warren on Thursday, March 18 at 7 p.m. In her book, Liturgy of the Ordinary: Sacred Practiced in Everyday Life, Warren explores the themes of human vulnerability, suffering, and searching for God when he seems absent.
These are themes she also explores in her new book, Prayer in the Night. Where do we find comfort when we lie awake worrying or weeping in the night? In this talk, Tish offers a prayerful and frank approach to the difficulties in our ordinary lives at work, at home, and in a world filled with uncertainty.
