Financial Responsibility Acknowledgement
The College is introducing a Statement of Financial Responsibility to make clear the established financial responsibilities and obligations associated with attending Geneva College. The Statement involves no change in policies, it merely requires acknowledgement of the financial commitments involved prior to registration.

All students must read and accept Geneva's Statement of Financial Responsibility prior to registering for classes. The statement will be presented to students through their MyGeneva account the first time the student accesses the Course Search window when beginning the registration process. It will only need to be acknowledged once per academic term and will not be presented again if any subsequent adjustments to registration for that term are made through MyGeneva. The Statement of Financial Responsibility can be acknowledged through Course Search before your registration period opens. With this in mind, we would encourage students to acknowledge the statement as soon as possible to ensure a smooth registration process.

Please read the Statement of Financial Responsibility by clicking the link below

GT Nation Scores with New Athletic Website
Geneva Athletics launched a newly designed website this month for enhanced engagement of the fan base with the college's 19 varsity NCAA Division III sports. The site also provides statistical integration, live video and audio feeds, and a multiple featured story design for an exciting new experience for Golden Tornadoes fans at athletics.geneva.edu. The President's Athletic Conference will livestream numerous Geneva athletic contests online. We also want to provide every fan a great viewing experience for our home competitions. Currently TV viewing can be done through Apple TV and Roku apps.

In the Library... It's Time to Smell the Coffee Again
The McCartney Library staff is excited to once again be able to offer warm beverages to students. Hot drinks in the library is a pleasantry that the Geneva community has been missing. All appropriate safety protocols will be enforced when students stop by and get a cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate during library hours.

Chapel on Campus
March will be a busy time for Chapel meetings by small groups of students in locations around campus. Chapel messages that are livestreamed to these students are also available to anyone outside of campus on Facebook Live during this common time of focus on God's revelation and word.

Messages for the upcoming weeks will be given by:
  • March 10 - Pastor Titus Martin
  • March 17 - Dr. Calvin Troup
  • March 24 - Dr. Will Baker
  • March 31 - Pastor Titus Martin
You can always watch Chapel sessions you have missed or would like to experience again.

Geneva Is Military Friendly
Congratulations to Geneva College for earning the 2021-2022 Military Friendly School designation at the Gold level with a No. 1 ranking it its division!

Institutions earning the Military Friendly School designation were evaluated using both public data sources and responses from a proprietary survey. Over 1,200 schools participated in the 2021-2022 survey with 747 earning the designation. The 2021-2022 Military Friendly® Schools list will be published in the May issue of G.I. Jobs magazine and can be found at www.militaryfriendly.com.

Beth Wiruth, Geneva Military Enrollment Specialist, says, "Geneva College focuses on living up to commitments made to God and neighbor. So, achieving Military Friendly School designation is a natural extension of living out our commitments to members of the U.S. armed forces and their qualifying dependents."

March Matchness

Geneva donors make your student's education a reality. With a contribution to Geneva during the month of March, donors can maximize commitments to an institution where God is at work, raising up a new generation of servant-leaders. Geneva's governing boards will match—dollar for dollar—every gift given to the COVID-19 Project, Geneva Fund, and/or Geneva Athletic Fund up to a total of $205,000. A gift of $50 would become a total gift of $100. A gift of $100 would become $200, and so on. Potentially, $410,000 may be raised for students towards their Christ-centered education.

Donors make this goal a reality for students by making a gift during March Matchness.

Calling and Career's Virtual Career Fair

Geneva's Center for Calling and Career hosts the 2021 Virtual Career Fair to help put students on a career path for the future.

Dozens of companies and organizations will participate in the fair on Friday, March 5, to connect with our students, offering career and internship opportunities. Students can attend using the college's Handshake platform available on the student portal, MyGeneva.

Along with providing assistance to students in discovering their God-given call to a vocation, Geneva provides practical opportunities through career fairs like this one, practical skill development and career counseling. 93% of Geneva graduates are working or in graduate school within six months of completing their degrees.

The Fitness Center is Now Open for Students

It's great news: The Fitness Center is now open, and with it a number of new protocols in place for the health and safety of students. New policies and procedures for using the Fitness Center are in place, so students know what to expect and can prepare for them. This step is a big one on the road to normalcy and one students will greatly appreciate.
