Geneva College Hosts Successful 2025 Career Fair

Picture of Geneva College Hosts Successful 2025 Career Fair

The Center for Calling & Career hosted Geneva College’s annual career fair on February 25. Ninety-three employers filled Metheny Fieldhouse, offering internships, fellowships, full and part-time jobs, and graduate programs. Over 500 students and 60 faculty attended the career fair for an opportunity to network and learn.

Students with a variety of majors and in all years were able to find employers that matched their interests. A sophomore biology major looking for internships connected with employers like University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), Heritage Valley Health System, Highmark Health, and St. Barnabas Health Systems. A senior business entrepreneurship major in search of summer jobs in ministry or teaching talked with representatives from Discovery Church, The Philadelphia Project, YouthWorks, Urban Impact Foundation, and Dedicated School Staffing. A senior communication major connected with graduate schools like Duquesne and Penn State Universities. A junior chemical engineering major found promising job opportunities with Savannah River Mission Completion. A freshman accounting major was able to talk with Schneider Downs and Co. about internships available in the upcoming year.

In addition to the positive experiences students shared of looking for internships, jobs, and graduate schools, several employers remarked favorably on the career fair and the students in attendance.

“Everyone is very accommodating and friendly. All of the students seem to really want to engage with us,” an intern representing Seneca Hills Bible Camp shared.

A representative from Duquesne University remarked, “We’ve been impressed with Geneva’s hospitality. The fair is well organized, and the broad range of employers represented shows that Geneva really cares about its students’ futures.”

Geneva College’s Center for Calling & Career does care about students’ futures, and knows that searching for jobs, internships, and other post-graduation opportunities can be daunting. The career fair helps students to take a step forward in pursuing their God-given callings by making it simple to connect with a wide range of organizations.
