General Information

• Geneva reserves the right to revise our awards if you receive private scholarships and funds not listed on your award notification. Generally this will only occur if these amounts are substantial and will first reduce loan and work study amounts.
• Students must be enrolled full-time. (12 or more credits)
• Students must meet minimum academic standards to renew. Please review the "Summary of Award Criteria by Enrollment Year" link below for the renewal criteria for your enrollment year. If you do not meet the minimum academic standards for renewal, you will be awarded a scholarship at the next level down, or Geneva need based aid (if eligible). Please contact the Student Financial Services Office for details about your individual situation.
• Eligibility for non-need based awards determined from admission application.
• Half of each grant or scholarship is awarded for fall and half for spring.
• We do not round GPA up or down for academic awards.
• Students enrolled in the Business Scholars 3+1 or the Cyber Security 3+1 programs will receive Geneva merit and need based grants and scholarships for the fall and spring semesters of the 3 undergraduate years.  Geneva financial aid is not available in the summer for these programs, but students that are eligible for the Federal Pell Grant may be able to secure summer funding. During year 4, students will be charged and awarded at the graduate student level and therefore not eligible for grants or scholarships. Please discuss your situation with the SFS office for further clarification.
