The International Student Organization (ISO) gives those interested the opportunity to get to know students from all over the world. It offers a network of support for students who are far from home, family, and familiar surroundings. All Geneva students, faculty, and staff are welcome to join and be a part of this community.

Some notable events that ISO participants like to take part in include:

• Trips to Pittsburgh and Cleveland

• Mystery Dinner

The ISO is led by a faithful team of international students who work together all year to make events as meaningful and joyous as possible for other students. Together they are supported by the Crossroads staff to help create a family-like environment of care and support for our international students far from home.

  Ethan Henry

  "Hi! I’m Ethan, and I am a junior studying Aviation Business Administration. I joined the ISO team because I enjoy spending time with the other international students and I learn so many new things hanging out with them."

  Dorcas Ge

  "My name is Dorcas Ge. I am a student from China and also currently work in Crossroads as a graduate assistant. I closely work and connect with international students as well as the international student organization.

  So far, we have been going on different trips hosted by ISO, where we get to explore the surrounding areas and cultures. It is just so much fun to spend time with each other and enjoy the happiness and laughter together."

  "My name is Phoebe, and I am studying Elementary and Special Education. I joined the ISO team because of how much the internationals feel like family! They made Geneva a home away from home and I have made such amazing friends through the ISO.

  I also love all the events we have and all the trips we go on planned for the international student. Geneva wouldn’t be the same without the ISO community."

  "My name is Furaha Mbodwam, and I am from France, Nigeria and Congo. I am studying nursing here at Geneva and decided to join ISO leadership because of how welcome this student organization made me feel as a new freshman.

  I also believe that this experience will help me to develop leadership skills that will serve me throughout life!"
