There is an ever-growing public concern as to safety of the food we eat. Hardly a week goes by without a media story about some sort of food recall, bacterial food bore illnesses, or some other food safety related issue. So much of our food is produced and processed in places we have no ideas as to how or where it is done. Raising this level of concern leaves the consumer questioning just how safe is our food.

Bruce '63 and Lois (Edgar '63) Alexander  celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary on June 12, 2018. Bruce retired as a colonel in the Army after 27 years of service in Washington D.C. The Alexander's retired to Mebane, NC.

John Manzetti '69 officially retired in 2018. He also published a book, "Small Bites of the Elephant" in 2018, to share his broad business knowledge and experiences with entrepreneurs and small business owners.

Randy Roeber '79  retired as a Lockheed Martin Program Manager in November 2018. He and his wife Diane (Kirchmeier '75) live in Vestal NY. They have five sons and twelve grandchildren.

Sarah (Zwinger '98) Gibbs  is pursuing a technical career after 19 years of working in higher education. She is an Implementation Consultant for TargetX, working remotely from home. She is excited to use the knowledge of the past 19 years to help colleges and universities better facilitate the use of their CRM.

Tyler Marwood '09 and wife Katherine welcomed their daughter Mercy Anne on August 23, 2018.

Ryan Bruckner '12 and his family celebrated son Harrison's first birthday on April 18, 2019. Harrison is seen here wearing his first Geneva College tee.

New Vice President of Enrollment & Marketing Announced
Geneva College is pleased to announce Anthony Turner as its new Vice President of Enrollment and Marketing to lead the institution’s work in enrollment services, marketing, and public relations.
Theologian Kevin J. Vanhoozer, PhD, to Speak at Geneva College
Geneva College welcomes Kevin J. Vanhoozer, PhD, on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 for two public addresses. Dr. Vanhoozer will fill the role of chapel speaker at 10:10 a.m. in Metheny Fieldhouse, and he will deliver the 2019 J.G. Vos Memorial Lecture at 7 p.m. in Skye Lounge, Student Center.
The Science of Soil: Geneva Provides Testing
Geneva College Chemistry Society provides soil analysis testing for the Beaver Falls and Geneva community. Samples are accepted between March 19 and April 3, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and can be dropped off outside room 212, Science & Engineering Building, Geneva Main Campus, Beaver Falls, PA.
