Athletic Legacy Weekend - May 15-16, 2020

The Legacy Hall of Fame Class will be the 5th class of the Geneva College Hall of Fame and consists of student-athletes that competed 50+ years ago (pre-1970). This group will truly represent the foundation of Geneva College athletics as each of these inductees left a lasting legacy from their time on College Hill.

The weekend-long event will include the 5th Annual Golf Outing and on-campus dessert reception (May 15), a coffee reception with former and current coaches and the Legacy Hall of Fame Induction Luncheon (May 16). To view more details and register, please visit athletics.geneva.edu/legacyweekend.

Giving Tuesday

December 3 - #GivingTuesday

The Tuesday after Thanksgiving, #GivingTuesday is a time for us to embrace the spirit of giving, utilizing the power of social media to create a national movement. Coming on the heels of the retail spree that is Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday is an opportunity to give back. Watch your email and Geneva social media accounts to spread the word.

Noble Book

Rev. Dr. Rich Noble ’89 Releases New Book

On Mission Together: Integrating Mission into the Local Church

The book is available for purchase at https://www.fallscitypress.com/omt and alumni may use the discount code GCALUMNI.

Our faith communities, from giant urban churches to small rural parishes, are necessary to the task of spreading the name of Jesus and the good news about His Kingdom beyond our borders. High-impact churches consider the work of global missions as a primary part of their daily lives of faith together.

On Mission Together is a clear and concise guidebook for any church wanting to make global missions extend beyond an annual offering or a Minute for Missions. Richard Noble—pastor, educator, and missions mobilizer—offers a clear and practical pathway toward making missions part of the fundamental DNA of your worshiping community.

Richard Noble is the founder and director of the Center for Missional Engagement in Pittsburgh, PA, where he lives with his wife, Amy. He also serves as a pastor and missions mobilizer with The Christian & Missionary Alliance, as well as adjunct faculty at Geneva College and Crown College. He earned a BA in Speech Communication from Geneva College and a MDiv and DMin in Missions & Cross-Cultural Studies from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.

Gold and White Grant

You may know college-bound students—family and friends—who would be a great fit for Geneva. You also probably know high school age students in your church or neighborhood who would benefit from a Geneva education.

As alumni, when you refer college-bound students to Geneva, you qualify them to receive the gift that only alumni can give, the Gold & White Alumni Grant. A Gold & White gift starts with support for school and ends with the lifetime value we work to provide through the ministry of education at Geneva College. Learn more or make a referral.
