Gold & White Alumni Referral Challenge Update
With a goal of having 50 alumni-referred applicants by Jan. 1, 2021, the Gold & White Challenge now counts 47 referred applicants. Help put us over the top by referring high school students in your sphere of influence. This Christmas, you can give the gift that only Geneva alumni can give – refer a student. The student receives $4,000 toward tuition ($1,000 per year) with the Gold & White Alumni Grant, and you’ll receive an embossed Geneva Bible for each of your referred students who enrolls.

Mental Health Toolkit for Students and Everyone
By Amy Solman, LPC, CADC, CTMH, MA, Director of Counseling Services
Let me say, you did it! We are very proud of you and the resilience you have shown in this unique semester. For such a time as this... I trust that the Lord will use the lessons and growth you've experienced to encourage you in your future challenges. Here in Counseling Services, we have created a "Mental Health Tool Kit @Home." I want to give a huge thank-you to Georgia Scott, our Graduate Assistant in Health and Counseling Services, and Hannah Broadway, our Assistant Director in Counseling Services, for their hard work on this resource.

Whether your home is a secure, loving and safe place, or the exact opposite, know that this Tool Kit is for everyone. We wanted to equip you with concrete and practical ways to cope with anxiety, depression and other feelings you might be experiencing in this unusual time that we are all living in. And remember, Counseling Services is not available for students over semester break- but if you want to meet with us when you return in the Spring- please reach out to me at alsolman@geneva.edu. Storm on and happy break!
