Due to our condensed schedule, the December Graduation Reception will be a bit earlier than normal, November 21. While we are honoring our graduates in November, the conferral date is actually December 19.
If your student is planning to graduate this December but did not receive an email from the Provost's office last week regarding the December Graduation event, he or she should contact the Registrar’s office.

During this time of a global pandemic, it’s more important than ever to mitigate flu outbreaks whenever possible. For that reason, Geneva is offering more on-campus Flu Clinic sessions than ever before. It couldn’t be more convenient for students to get their flu shot on campus. Encourage your student to get a flu shot this season. Check out the details!

The new delivery via Facebook Livestreaming of this integral part of the Geneva College experience enables the community to focus on God and His word together – just it’s a little different than it’s been in the past.

Virtual Homecoming
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Geneva held its first-ever virtual Homecoming last week. Geneva's Alumni Relations team planned dozens of online events to bring current students and alumni together. On-campus students had a chance to participate in fun events like smashing a car and riding the Geneva zipline.
Many were able to enjoy the Genevans Choir singalong... and you can, too.

It’s a Halloween Special Geneva Reading Series
If it goes Boo in the Night or Carves a Pumpkin so Pretty or Quothes “Nevermore,” it might be part of the Halloween Special of the Geneva Reading Series. The GRS is designed as an evening that transports an individual into the world of prose, poetry and creative writing – but the Halloween Special might have a little Scare in there too!
The Geneva Reading Series: Halloween Special, open to all students, will be on Wednesday, October 21 at 7 p.m. Find out more by clicking below!

Geneva Student Marches for the Fallen
Most students don’t walk in the rain if they can help it, but on September 13, Brandon Simmers marched through wet weather for a very special cause. He strode up and down streets around College Avenue, toting a 35-pound backpack all the way, until he’d walked 28 miles. Then he stopped, knowing that he had completed the 2020 March for the Fallen.
The march is an annual, memorial event to honor US Military members who died in the line of duty.

From the Geneva Grounds Crew
The students are doing a great job of keeping the campus clean – especially in light of the fact that so many are eating meals outside, taking classes and gathering under the tents. These words of observation and praise are coming from those who pay attention to the campus grounds the most – the Grounds Crew. Thanks for a great job of care, Geneva students!
