Health Insurance is a Requirement
If you Have it, Just Waive the University Plan

We care about the health and welfare of our students. Geneva College requires ALL full-time traditional undergraduate students to carry health insurance.

To help our students comply with this policy, each full-time traditional undergraduate student will be enrolled in a University Health Plan through Geneva College, UNLESS the student completes an online waiver with policy information showing that they already have health insurance coverage. The cost per year is $1,022 and coverage runs January 1 through July 31, 2021. The website to waive the student health insurance will open on 11/30/2020.

Student Parking Permits Required

If your student brings a car to campus, they are required to purchase a parking permit. A single permit will be issued and may be transferred from one vehicle to another provided EACH vehicle is registered. All payments for permits will be made online after completing the application. The parking permit will be distributed to the student mailbox located in the Student Center.

The cost for a parking permit is $85. Students can submit their application and payment by logging into myGeneva/Student Information/Student Life Info and scroll down to Student Parking. Click on the link to begin your application.

Get Refunds via Direct Deposit

If students are eligible to receive a refund from their student accounts, we encourage them to sign up for Student Choice Refunds (SCR.) Once enrolled, Geneva will process refunds and deposit them directly into a bank account via an ACH transaction. This will eliminate the need to go to the bank to deposit a check, loss of checks, and delayed deposit of funds. The SCR process is managed through the student's Nelnet account.

Instructions to enroll can be found on the website at: https://www.geneva.edu/student-financial-services/tuition-costs-billing You may sign up at any time. If you have any questions contact Student Financial Services at sfs@geneva.edu or call 724-847-6550.

Veteran's Day Virtual Program

At Geneva College, we live up to our motto "Pro Christo et Patria" – For Christ and Country. We place a high priority on members of the armed services as our family, friends, neighbors and fellow citizens. We are humbled by the willingness to sacrifice in their service of freedom, whether that means being away from loved ones or risking their lives in foreign lands. These choices are honorable and honored here.

The Geneva community joing together on Wed., Nov. 11 to salute our military friends with a Veteran’s Day Virtual Program. This virtual program consisted of posting short videos throughout the day and participants met members of the Geneva community who have served and are currently serving. It began with the raising of the flag at 0800 (8a.m.) and concluded with the playing of taps at 2200 (10p.m.).
