| The annual fall activities fair called Cokes & Connections helped your student connect to college life, Friday, Sept. 10 at the center of campus. Clubs and organizations, churches and local nonprofits showed students ways to get involved in the College and in the Community, along with offering free swag, food and the opportunity to meet a lot of great people. |

| Remembering 9/11 at Its 20th Anniversary |
"Those who don't know history are destined to repeat it." – George Santayana
The terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001 continue to reverberate in the memories of many Americans twenty years later. For Geneva students, many of whom were not born or were too young to have recollections, 9/11 is a second-hand event. The Geneva Visiting Artist & Lecture Series provides several events next week to commemorate the anniversary of events and to educate students.

| Large-Gathering Chapel Returns at Geneva |
Focusing on the Lord through word, prayer and song together through weekly Chapel is an important part of the Geneva community and educational experience.
Due to pandemic protocols last year, we were not able to gather in one group for Chapel. We were still able to participate face to face but followed a classroom-based small group Chapel format. This year, we are delighted for all students, faculty and staff have been able to once again gather together in a large group.
When weather allows, we will hold Chapel outside in Reeves Field. When it's raining or it's too cold to stay outside, Chapel will be moved indoors to Metheny Fieldhouse, and masks will be required. The day and time will remain Wednesday at 10:10 a.m. Parents can watch the livestream of Geneva Chapel or view it later on demand on Facebook and the geneva..edu website. |

| Student Veterans 9/11 Flag Memorial |
The Geneva College Student Veterans Club (SVA) installed a 9/11 Flag Memorial on the Geneva campus lawn to represent the lives lost on September 11, 2001. Geneva community members sponsored flags planted.
