Kriner Family in memory of Geneva College′s beloved professor of a quarter-century, in order to continue his legacy and vision for philosophy. The Lecture was inaugurated in 2004, a year after Dr. Bitar′s untimely death.

John Paul Schaefer Memorial Observatory (located on the first-base side of the baseball field)

This event will take place in both clear skies and cloudy weather.

Activities include:     

• Tour the observatory
• Via software, see the sky on the night of your birth.
• See the observatory in action. (Weather permitting)
  • Star gaze via small and large telescopes. (Weather permitting)

*Baseball Field Location: The address is Beaver Falls Ballpark #2, Beaver Falls, PA 15010, and it is located just off the corners of 33rd street and 6th Avenue on College Hill.
