Campus Breaks and Closures

Throughout the semester there will be breaks and hall closures, as outlined in the academic calendar on the website. It is expected all students make plans to account for when halls are closed and find off-campus accommodations.

  • FALL BREAK: Residence halls remain open (October 14-18)
  • THANKSGIVING BREAK: Residence halls close November 22 at 6:00 p.m. and reopen November 28 at NOON
  • CHRISTMAS BREAK: Residence halls close December 17th at NOON (2 p.m. for registered December graduates) and reopen January 7 at NOON
  • SPRING BREAK: Residence halls close March 3 at 6 p.m. and reopen March 13 at NOON
  • EASTER BREAK: Residence halls remain open (April 5 – April 10)

Students are only allowed to remain on campus if they fit within our exceptions. ALL EXCEPTIONS MUST BE APPROVED BY RESIDENCE LIFE. For any questions regarding this, please email housing@geneva.edu

 
STORM ON with Intramurals!

Calling all flag football and volleyball enthusiast! Our 2022-2023 intramural season kicks off with Men’s Flag Football and Co-ed Sand Volleyball! Form your squad and register on the IMLeagues site by September 23 at 11:59 p.m. Instructions for account setup and team registration can be found via the link below. 

Every member of your team must be completely registered and assigned to your team by the deadline to participate. Individuals will not be permitted to participate in intramural activities unless they are fully registered.

Volunteers Needed
Homecoming Volunteers Needed!

We need your help! Hundreds of alumni, families, and community members will be here Homecoming weekend. We are still looking for volunteers to help with events on Friday October 7 and Saturday, October 8. All volunteers will receive a free t-shirt. We ask that volunteers sign up for at least a 2-hour time slot. Staff, faculty, and students are welcome to volunteer.

Recovery Walk
Beaver County Recovery Walk

Join Beaver County in the 2nd Annual Recovery Walk this Saturday from 11 a.m.-2 p.m at Brady's Run Park. In addition to the recovery Walk, there will be inspiring speakers, a butterfly launch, WBVP/WMBA radio, live entertainment, food trucks, an obstacle course, raffles, and free resources.
