Golden Tornado Update | April 13 - April 20, 2015

Friday, April 24 the Golden Tornadoes men and women track and field teams will compete in the Presidents' Athletic Conference Championships hosted this year at Grove City College.

Now 18-16 overall, 8-6 in the PAC, Geneva Softball’s upcoming week determines if the Golden Tornadoes will see the PAC post-season or not as they will face Thiel and Westminster.  Last week Geneva played seven games facing Bethany, Thomas More and Grove City finishing 4-3.  Laura Beck batted .400 this week with eight hits including a homer in game one against Chatham.  Freshman catcher Megan Davis hit a game winning grandslam at Thomas More for the over .500 week.  On the mound, senior Andy Hinds earned a 1.80 ERA going 2-1 while Samantha Johnson went 2-2 with a 3.10 ERA.

Baseball went 2-3 this week after defeated Bethany in two but then dropping three straight to St. Vincent. Tyler Pagaduan went a perfect 4-for-4 in game one over Bethany. Now 10-18 overall, 4-12 in the PAC the Golden Tornadoes have five games scheduled for the upcoming week against Grove City, Bethany and Westminster.
