Residence Hall Moveout
Residence halls will close to all students next week at the conclusion of the semester. When does your student need to move out? Non-graduating students deadline is May 6 at 5pm. Students who are graduating need to move out by May 7 at 6pm.

Drop-Off & Exchange Event (Operation Move-Out)
Does your student have furniture in a dorm room that they can't take home? They should consider donating it. Furniture and other useful items in good condition can be donated at the designated residence hall lounges Wednesday and Thursday, May 4 & 5 of Finals Week (No later than Thursday 5pm). Students should mark items with a "Free" sign and may take any items that others have donated. Remaining items will be donated to a thrift store or food bank or sold to Geneva students in the fall.

Commencement/Baccalaureate
Geneva observes Baccalaureate and Commencement with the class of 2022. A Baccalaureate service will be held at 7pm on Friday, May 6 in Metheny Fieldhouse. The Traditional Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony will be outside at Reeves Field (weather permitting) at 10am on Saturday, May 7. The Graduate and Adult Degree Commencement will take place at 3pm on Saturday, May 7 in Metheny Fieldhouse.

Eight Bells Concert
The Eight Bells, Geneva College's men's acapella group, are excited to announce the return of the annual Eight Bells Concert, celebrating the 55th anniversary of the ensemble's founding. Under the direction of Benjamin Kennedy '18, the Eight Bells will perform at 6pm on Tuesday, May 3, under the new Geneva College pavilion in the center of campus.

Introducing Slingshot
Geneva College has welcomed a new course materials partner, Slingshot. Slingshot will move into the campus store later this summer and launch its premier course material subscription service to all new Geneva students starting in the Fall 2022 term. For Summer 2022 term, students may place orders through the Slingshot portal at geneva.slingshotedu.com.

Continuing students can opt-in to Slingshot to receive their books automatically before classes start this fall.

About Slingshot
National Day of Prayer
Geneva College hosts the Beaver Falls National Day of Prayer Breakfast on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at 7:30am in Alexander Dining Hall. A light breakfast will be provided following the service. Speakers include the Reverend Dr. Jeff Arnold, Senior Pastor of First Presbyterian Church, Beaver, and President Troup.
