The Center for Calling and Career offers a three-part series over five weeks that covers how to write a resume that will stand out, how to engage in both the public and hidden job market, cover-letter writing, benefits, and salary negotiation. Last semester, this series received strong feedback from attendees about how helpful it was. This series will be offered twice this spring.

Series 1: Wednesdays, 11:15 am – 12:10 pm | Feb. 2, Feb. 16, March 2

1608 Geneva Bible
We have an original Geneva Bible (1608), the first Bible to be printed in Scotland, on display in the foyer of the library (flat display case). It is on loan from one of our Trustees, Donald Kirkwood. This is what he says about it:

"I have an original 1608 Geneva Bible I will put on loan with the library through the balance of the academic year. It will be a matter of interest and curiosity, with lovely facia pages, woodcuts, etc. I bought it at auction in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1975 for about $25… Now worth about $3,000."

Simply put your name, box number, street address, city, state, and zip code (3200 College Avenue, Beaver Falls, PA 15010).
