Fans In The Stands Campaign
Geneva College Golden Tornadoes will return to competition during the spring semester. Our student-athletes will have the opportunity to train and compete in NCAA DIII competitions this spring, and we want to provide our alumni, family and friends a unique way to show their support in the competition venues.
To prepare for the spring season we are launching the Golden Tornadoes "Fans in Stands Campaign" presented by Flick Financial, LLC. With a $50 donation, you can have a Fan Cutout in Metheny Fieldhouse for all spring athletic competitions. All donations will go to the Geneva Athletic Fund which will support all student-athletes. Fan cutouts are $50 each, one person per picture. Once your donation has been received and processed, you will be emailed a link to upload your photo.
Get Ready for March Matchness 2021!
The March Matchness Matching Gift Challenge is back with the highest match ever! Geneva’s governing boards will match up to a total of $205,000 of all gifts made to the Geneva Fund, COVID-19 Project, and Athletic Annual Fund during the month of March.

Rev. Timothy Bennet '75 and his wife, Peggy, after 39 years in the pastorate (35 years in Binghamton, NY) are now retired. The Bennetts are living in North Carolina, enjoying visits from their 3 sons and soon to be 8 grandchildren.
Rev. Doug Barnes '97 accepted a call to serve at Grace United Reformed Church in Alto, MI, in July 2020. He and his wife, Grace (Pontier) '97 have six children and are thankful to be able to serve God by serving among His people!
Dr. Jennifer Flinn '00, MA '02 was promoted to full professor at Frostburg State University as of the 2020-2021 school year. She received her Doctorate in Psychology in 2007 from West Virginia University. Jennifer resides in Maryland.'
David '08 and Debra (Pasewark) '08 Bacon adopted Zackary and Alexis on September 18, 2020 after fostering them for over two years. They are now blessed with five children, (L to R) Zackary, Eliana, Alexis, Samuel, and Asher.
Zach '16 and Abigail (Wenger) '17 Ackerman welcomed twins Jameson William and Elliana Marie on December 19. The Ackermans currently reside in Ohio.

You may know college-bound students—family and friends—who would be a great fit for Geneva. You also probably know high school age students in your church or neighborhood who would benefit from a Geneva education.
As alumni, when you refer college-bound students to Geneva, you qualify them to receive the gift that only alumni can give, the Gold & White Alumni Grant. A Gold & White gift starts with support for school and ends with the lifetime value we work to provide through the ministry of education at Geneva College. Read more or make a referral.
Homecoming 2021 - Save The Date!
Save-the-date for homecoming 2021: October 1-2. Class years ending in 1 and 6 will celebrate reunions (along with years ending in 0 and 5 since we did not have the opportunity this fall in-person). If you’re interested in joining a reunion planning committee, contact the Office of Alumni Relations.
Geneva College License Plates
Pennsylvania drivers can show their Geneva College pride with an official license plate! For a fee of $27.00 you will receive a Geneva College Pennsylvania license plate. You pay only the normal registration fee thereafter. Plates are issued in numerical sequence. Optional personalization requests available for an additional fee of $108.00.
