It's Time to Vote!
Each year there are alumni council members whose term limits expire. Those members can accept an opportunity to serve again or decline thereby creating the need for a new member. This year, we are able to welcome two new members to the Council! The entire Alumni Association is presented with opportunity to vote via survey for the members on the ballot. Serving on the Alumni Council is a volunteer position. The individuals listed below have been fully vetted by the Alumni Council and are recommended for selection from the Alumni Association for a three-year term.
The vacancies for members whose terms expired included class years from the 60s/70s and mid-2000s. Because we strive to have a Council that represents an array of graduation years, we’re asking you to choose one alum from each of these decades.
Geneva Visiting Artist & Lecture Series (GVALS)
For the 20th anniversary of 9/11, we welcomed to campus Tom Dykhouse, David Shedd '81, Anne Van Hine, who were all directly impacted by the the events of 9/11. Brad Jacobs spoke about the Constitution and 9/11 and members of the Geneva community visited the Flight 93 memorial. You can listen to these talks on the GVALS website.
6th Annual Hall of Fame Class Announcement & Induction Dinner
The Athletic Hall of Fame began in 2016 and with the addition of 35 new members in 2020 Geneva Legacy Hall of Fame class, Geneva has now inducted 90 former athletes and supporters to its athletic Hall of Fame. The inductees represent nearly every era of Geneva Athletics dating back to the 1890s.
