(BEAVER FALLS, Pa.) – Geneva College announces several top 100 rankings in 2022 U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges lists, including recognition as one of the 2022 Best Value Schools in the region.

U.S. News & World Report ranked Geneva College #6 in Best Value Schools, #29 in Best Colleges for Veterans, #42 in Top Performers on Social Mobility and #73 in overall rankings—up from #93 last year—for Regional Universities (North). The publication ranks institutions according to performance across a set of widely accepted indicators of excellence.

To determine which colleges are the best value for students, U.S. News examines both academic quality and cost. Social mobility rankings result from data on enrolling and graduating large proportions of disadvantaged students receiving Pell Grants, a vast majority of whom have adjusted gross family incomes under $50,000 per year.

Since its inaugural edition in 1983, U.S. News & World Report′s Best Colleges has been helping students and their parents make informed higher education decisions by providing news and advice about in-demand degree programs, finding more financial aid, how to be successful in college and other relevant topics. It is considered the gold standard in college rankings.

Geneva College is a Christ-centered academic community that provides a comprehensive education to equip students for faithful and fruitful service to God and neighbor. Offering over 145 traditional undergraduate majors and programs, fully online Adult Degree Programs and high-demand graduate degrees, Geneva’s programs are recognized for their high quality and affordability. Geneva is the #6 ranked Best Value Regional University North, according to U.S. News and World Report. Adhering to the truth of Scripture, a Geneva education is grounded in God’s Word as well as in a core curriculum designed to prepare students vocationally to think, write and communicate well in today’s world. Geneva was founded and is governed by the Reformed Presbyterian Church of North America (RPCNA) and is a founding member of both the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU) and IACE (International Association for Christian Education).
