Geneva nursing students are dual enrolled in partnership with the Community College of Beaver County’s (CCBC) Registered Nurse program. Students in the Geneva BSN program are eligible to sit for the national licensure exam (NCLEX-RN) upon completion of the Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) Program through CCBC.
The CCBC Registered Nurse ADN program is fully accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) and has full approval status from the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing. If you are a Geneva student who resides outside of Pennsylvania and intend to complete in the Geneva Nursing program with the CCBC Associate Degree that leads to professional licensure, you should review requirements on the state board website to make sure that the program meets the qualifications for your state.
Students wishing to enroll in the Geneva Nursing program should contact CCBC at studentrecords@ccbc.edu letting them know the state in which you are located and your (intended) program and CCBC will determine if the program meets the requirements for the state in which you plan to become licensed.
Licensure requirements vary from state to state. As a result, an additional authorization may be required from the professional licensing agency in your state. Participating in a program from outside of Pennsylvania, if not properly authorized by that state's professional licensing board, could result in loss of licensing eligibility.
