May@Geneva is an affordable and convenient summer session. All summer sessions are taught by Geneva professors and offerings include Core, Core Option, and some major courses. Students are limited to 7 credit hours during May Term.

Online courses are eight weeks in length and do not require students to have a physical presence on campus. For all courses, be sure to check the course dates that are provided with the course listing in the schedule of classes. Online courses carry an additional $100 technology fee per course.
Geneva students who want to take May@Geneva courses can register as early as fall registration. Registration will continue until May 11, 2021, at 4:00 p.m. (exceptions must be approved by the Provost). No additional application is required. Students may take a maximum of 7 hours in any combination of one, three, and four-credit classes.
Students may drop a class up until Tuesday, May 11 before 6:00 p.m. (no grade penalty – 100% tuition refund) and may withdraw as late as two days into May term (Tuesday, May 11); W grades begin on Wednesday, May 12.
Current students may register for May@Geneva courses online until 4 p.m. May 10. After May 10, students must submit the paper registration form to the Registrar's Office.
Web registration is not available to new students or certification students. Students not using web registration must print the registration form and submit it to registrar@geneva.edu or

Your regular semester housing status carries over to May term. If you are currently a commuter, your status does not change, although you are welcome to participate in all May activities. Room sign-ups for May term will be available on Monday, May 4th (Reading Day) in the designated summer residence hall. Prior to summer move over, you will be responsible for cleaning up and “checking out” with your RA on or before Saturday, May 9th. On Monday, May 11th you will need to move from your current room to the apartment you are signed up to live in for May Term, starting at 2:00 pm. If current residential students wish to switch to a commuting status for May@Geneva, all students are responsible for applying to commute. All policies still apply and can be found in the Student Handbook. Please submit the Commuter Form on myGeneva to start the process.
If you are a May@Geneva resident, you will automatically be registered for housing and the meal plan. If you are a commuter, you may purchase lunch or dinner at the dining hall (walk-in rates apply). The May meal plan includes a continental breakfast (including an omelet station), lunch, and dinner, served Monday through Friday.

Activities will be announced in April 2021. Normally, we offer a Pirates game, a night at the movies in Monaca, cookouts, and other activities.
The Fitness Center will be open Monday through Friday (7-9 a.m., 1-6 p.m.), and the Field House will be open for pick-up games and racquetball until 5 p.m. each weekday afternoon.
Student Success Center: This summer, the Student Success Center (SSC) staff is available to assist students with your academic needs. Hours are Monday-Friday, 8-4. If you need tutoring or accommodations, visit the SSC at the beginning of the term.
