Duties and responsibilities: Must be energetic, fun, and a good representative of Geneva College as our mascot. This involves interacting with students, alumni, and families while remaining silent but animated. #LI-DNI

Network Port Manager

Peer Tutor

Work Hours/Schedule: The hours flex around the tutor's schedule. Each student (tutee) is allowed 7 hours of tutoring per course per semester. The amount of hours per week is dependent on the classes the tutor is available to tutor and the tutoring requests received by the SSC

Primary purpose of position: The primary purpose of being a peer tutor is to support and help fellow students and classmates succeed in their academics.

Duties and responsibilities: 1. Review content and teach skills such as note-taking, outlining, and test-taking. 2. As needed, communicate with the student's professor to determine suitable strategies, build on strengths, etc. 3. Support and encourage students (tutee)with honest and appropriate feedback.4. Identify specific problems that are hindering the tutee's progress in his or her coursework. #LI-DNI

Tutoring hours are dependent on the demand for tutors in specific classes. Students are encouraged to express interest and apply for becoming a peer tutor, but must understand they will be assigned when a tutoring request is received for the classes the tutor specifies. Rapp Engineering Lab Assistant

Position Title:  Rapp Engineering Lab Assistant

Primary purpose of position: The role of the RAPP Engineering Lab Assistant is to assist Staff Engineers in maintaining the technical shop. You will be expected to spend time monitoring the shop. You will spend this time completing shop maintenance, department projects, and assisting fellow students.

Duties and responsibilities: -Sweeping and clearing machines, worktables, and floors -Place work orders to Physical Plant for refuse removal on a regular basis -Empty shop vacuums, complete minor maintenance -Assisting other students in operating approved equipment (refer to shop safety training course) -Report issues requiring Staff Engineer intervention -Homecoming projects (Float, Department Gifts, Fundraisers, etc.) -Various Outreach events -Projects assigned by Staff (making/mounting shelving, sorting bolts, etc) -Welding Workshop #LI-DNI

Duties and responsibilities: Responsible for water distribution to all Geneva College sports team, pre-participation taping and general maintenance of the athletic training room.
