Immersion Trips

A Journey that Will Shape Your Life

The Center for Student Engagement offers Immersion Trips as off-campus transformative opportunities for all Geneva College students. We believe in the power of experiences to shape the narrative of our relationships with self, God, creation, and neighbor. These opportunities provide a variety of options to engage the world around us in new and exciting ways. The trips offer an affordable way to explore new locations, further your personal growth, and form lasting connections with your teammates.

Immersion Trips - Spring Break 2022

Quest Summit

There are two types of Immersion Trips that take place over spring break: Quest Trips and Adventure Trips

Quest Trips are service-learning experiences that focus on listening, learning, and serving in a specific context while engaging various social issues. You'll spend time with key community partners in one primary location to listen to what they are doing and learn how they are engaging in their local communities in ways that serve God’s Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. Your team will join in the daily work with the community partner through service projects that further their mission. Adventure Trips allow you to explore God's creation in new ways and reflect on His plan of redemption for all created things. Both beginner and advanced adventurers are welcome. All Immersion Trips are led by a staff advisor who prepares the student team during the spring semester for the experience ahead. All expenses are covered by the trip fee, including lodging, transportation, meals, ministry fees, and entertainment. Geneva COVID safety measures will be followed at all times. Registration is limited and often fills quickly – sign up today to secure your spot.
