Biography
In the UK, Kathryn performed regularly with Gabrieli Consort, English Concert, BBC Singers, Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Brompton Oratory Choir and toured throughout the UK, Germany, Romania and Syria. Kathryn has frequently performed oratorio and concert works in venues such as Buckingham Palace, St. Paul’s Cathedral and St. Martin in the Fields. Since her return to the USA, Kathryn has performed in The Marriage of Figaro (Rosina), Carmen (Micaela), Riders to the Sea (Cathleen), Britten’s The Little Sweep (Rowan) and Mozart’s Don Giovanni (Donna Anna) with Pittsburgh’s Undercroft Opera and Microscopic Opera.
Kathryn is a featured soloist with Pittsburgh Camerata. She sings occasionally for Pittsburgh’s ‘Music in a Great Space’ concert series and for Pittsburgh Renaissance and Baroque, is a chorister with Pittsburgh Opera, and in 2013 made her Royal Albert Hall, London solo debut with her husband, bass-baritone Sean G. Donaldson.
